After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to buy this little gem! How glad I am that I took a chance! I love this little stereo!!! So easy to use (just plug in your radio), and what a sound from such a little package! I love it!!!!

Performs like I expected. I use it with a XMP3i. Had many adapters included. I'm puzzled with the other 5 star ratings on sound quality. The sound is better than a laptop or typical clock radio, but nowhere near the sound of a home audio speakers. I found setting the XMP3i equalizer setting to "flat" gave the best sound. The compact size fits nicely on my kitchen counter.

I ordered this product and paid for the faster shipping and had it in 2 days...Wow. Product is everything as advertised..fully compatible with my Onyx (XM website says its compatible but not on the product description) and sound is fantastic. Unit should be close to a wall as the bass boost comes out the back and reflects against this for deep sound.
Antenna is working great inside near a window or wall facing south. Remote is very handy and I highly recommend this product. It definitely has a sound very similar to a Bose Wave Radio....much better than a boom box sound.Audiovox XMAS100 XM Compact Sound System

The sound system is as shown in the product description. It is small, looks good, and the sound quality is o.k., but there is no way to adjust bass, etc.
If you do not have or are not able to run the antenna cord to a window with a clear southern exposure don't bother getting this product. Since this is just a dock for a XM receiver and does not have any other options for use (FM, IPod) it is basically useless if the receiver does not get a decent signal.
I got this system to use with my new xpress rci receiver and wanted to use it in a room that happens to have a window facing north. After two days and many calls to XM I was finally told the antenna must be near a window with southern exposure. After I moved the antenna it got a weak signal but there are many trees in the way so it does not work very well.
